DORLET's leading role in physical cybersecurity is further strengthened, enabling easier NIS2 compliance for our customers.
DORLET once again leads innovation in security by becoming the first Spanish company whose physical access control systems have been included in the CPSTIC catalogue. This milestone reinforces our commitment to cybersecurity, the protection of critical infrastructures, and regulatory compliance in high-sensitivity environments.
What is the CPSTIC catalogue and why is it so important?
The CPSTIC is the Catalogue of ICT Security Products and Services managed by Spain’s National Cryptologic Centre (CCN).
Its main purpose is to help public administration bodies and private entities that serve them acquire trusted security products and services for deployment in ICT systems under the National Security Framework (ENS) or systems that handle classified information.
CPSTIC, ENS, NIS2: How are they connected?
Spain is currently transposing the European NIS2 and CER directives, focused on strengthening cybersecurity and the resilience of critical entities.
These regulations are closely linked to the ENS, especially at its HIGH level, which will be the reference point for meeting new security requirements.
According to Royal Decree 311/2022, Article 19.1:
"The selection and implementation of security measures must consider the use of products that have been evaluated or certified according to internationally or nationally recognized standards, especially those qualified products included in the CPSTIC catalogue."
This means that public or private entities subject to the ENS must justify using any products not listed in the catalogue. Prioritizing CPSTIC-certified products simplifies regulatory compliance and strengthens protection in critical security layers.
