DORLET complies with the Grade 4 Intrusion and Access standard

Grade 4 in Access and Intrusion

Critical infrastructures do not allow room for failure or alternative plans. For this reason, at DORLET®, we are constantly working to offer technologically advanced solutions that comply with the most demanding certifications in the sector. As a result of this commitment, we have achieved Grade 4 certification in both Intrusion (EN-50131) and Access Control (EN-60839), consolidating our ability to provide high-level security systems.

Grade 4: The highest certification for critical infrastructures

EN-50131 and EN-60839 set the European reference standards for security systems. Grade 4 certification is specifically designed for high-risk environments, such as critical infrastructures, where threats are highly sophisticated and security systems must ensure a fast and effective response.

Previously, DORLET® was certified Grade 4 in Access Control (EN 60839) and Grade 3 in Intrusion (EN 50131). However, our commitment to offering solutions of the highest quality and adapted to market demands has led us to continue improving in order to protect our customers' facilities with state-of-the-art technology. Now, with Grade 4 certification in both categories, we reinforce our position as a benchmark in the sector and guarantee comprehensive protection for our customers. It is worth noting that DORLET® is the only manufacturer in the sector that complies with Grade 4 standards in both Intrusion and Access, and was one of the pioneers in obtaining Grade 4 certification in Access and Grade 3 in Intrusion.

Main advantages of Grade 4 certification

Having a Grade 4 certified security system provides multiple advantages for critical infrastructures, among which the following stand out:

- Maximum level of security (high risk): systems certified according to Grade 4 standards offer high detection capacity and resistance to intrusions and/or planned attacks with high technical preparation and resources.

- Compliance with legal requirements: the private security regulations of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior require alarm systems in critical infrastructures to be manufactured in accordance with UNE-EN standards (UNE-EN 50131, UNE-EN- 60839...) and to have a conformity assessment by accredited bodies.

- Implementation of very demanding technical requirements: Devices with Grade 4 certification must incorporate the maximum possible anti-tampering measures (active tampers against opening or manipulation, permanent connection with the control centre to monitor the status of the systems, alarms for replaced reader, for breakage of encryption between elements, for attempts at coercion...). In short, a set of actions that will make it possible to identify attacks before they even become a real threat.

Innovation in our software and hardware

New functionalities enabling compliance with Grade 4 requirements are available from version 2.8 of our DASSnet® management software. It should be noted that any functionality related to the regulations, in which DORLET®hardware is involved, is compatible regardless of the ACU model or firmware version, as long as it is a certified model and the firmware is equal to or higher than the certified version.

This ensures that our customers can continue to operate with total security, without the need to make unnecessary changes to their infrastructures and in compliance with current regulations at all times.

Another step forward in excellence and innovation

At DORLET®, we have been helping critical infrastructures to create a reliable, robust and secure environment in which to carry out their activities for over 35 years. Our track record in the industry has taught us that security is constantly evolving and that attacks, both physical and cyber, are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated. In this context, our mission as a security company is to continue to provide the highest quality tools capable of dealing with these threats.

With the Grade 4 certification for both Intrusion and Access we seek to offer peace of mind to our clients, lead the market in comprehensive security and actively contribute to the stability of our society as a whole.
