One of the drawbacks of recording visitors who access our facilities is the time required to collect the visitor's personal details. This information is usually limited to name, surnames and ID card number, and in most cases no photographic record of the person is kept. In buildings in which there are a large number of visitors, more than one control point is required to avoid queues.
To avoid these problems there is the possibility of adding automatic data reading systems to DORLET's Visitor Control Software.
Using a high resolution camera, these devices take a picture of the document and via OCR they automatically fill in the personal details on the visitor form in the DASS software.
These OCR systems are designed to identify official document data (ID card, passport, driving licence...) and in some models the authenticity of the document is checked.
